Montreal, October 8th, 2009 – Following the change of ownership in June 2009 we uncover the new name and identity of our inn – La Datcha Bed & Breakfast.
For six good years this inn has been welcoming visitors to Montreal under the name of Big Boys Guesthouse and was a place for many great stories and adventures. We intend to continue this fabulous saga and to offer guests from all over the world a comfortable and fun place to stay while they come to Montreal be it for pleasure or business.
Datcha is a Russian word for a country house, a secondary residence. Most of the city dwellers in Russia have such a house in the country where to escape from the tension and the stress of their daily lives. Datcha is a place to relax with friends, take your time to replenish your reserve of energy and forget that time exists. Our Datcha B&B in the gay Village of Montreal offers such experience, as evidenced by the guests we have already received over this summer.
